As the lead UX designer in my organization, I identified a need for a company-wide standard for accessibility design. The content and graphic layout for these guidelines were laid out over the summer of 2020.
KSL News App Prototype
UI Design
The KSL News App currently gets a low share of article views compared to KSL.com on the web. I have a theory that this the old, outdated UI is partially to blame. We are testing this theory by releasing a new queue for news stories with an updated look and feel. If this yields more traffic to the app we will step-by-step release more modernization, all the while monitoring its effect on usage.

LOGO DESIGN
Utah.com
Word mark for the Utah.com brand. Utah.com is a travel website averaging around 12 million pageviews per year.
Memories
Memories is an obituaries website averaging 5 new listings per day. It primarily serves the Wasatch front and is an alternative to expensive newspaper obituaries.
Carketa
This logo concept was never adopted by Carketa, which is a vehicle inspection service. The checkmark is taken from a graphic in the product.
Confidence by KSL Cars
KSL Cars needed a mark to represent new products geared toward helping car buyers insure, protect, and create legal documents related to their transaction.
Agibly
Agibly provides care plans for aging adults. Resources for older Americans can be hard to navigate, and Agibly helps you age ably.
KSL Cars Dealer Exchange
Dealer Exchange is a backlot channel for car dealerships to sell and trade unwanted vehicle inventory. A service available only to dealerships, the visual component of this brand was designed to appeal to car guys.
SeniorLeaf
SeniorLeaf is the first iteration of Agibly, a brand explained above. SeniorLeaf rebranded to Agibly to avoid confusion with the name of a big competitor.
